Employability Skills Tutor

​Contract: Part-time Associate (minimum 2 days per week)
Location: Community-based (Bedfordshire)
Salary: Dependent on Experience (DOE)

The Opportunity

We are recruiting an Associate Employability Skills Tutor to deliver high-quality, accredited employability and essential skills training to women from diverse and intersectional backgrounds. This is a values-led role within a survivor-informed, trauma-aware learning environment, supporting progression into employment, further education, or volunteering.

Key Responsibilities (Summary)

  • Deliver engaging Employability Skills sessions (up to Level 2)

  • Provide personalised, trauma-informed and inclusive learner support

  • Carry out assessments, reviews, and action planning in line with AO and IWP requirements

  • Support inductions, IAG, progression planning, and learner outcomes

  • Maintain accurate learner records and contribute to quality assurance

  • Work collaboratively within a small, supportive team

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience delivering employability or vocational skills

  • Teaching qualification (minimum Level 3 AET)

  • Strong commitment to supporting women facing complex and intersectional barriers

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and learner-centred practice

Desirable

  • Experience delivering Employability Skills to Level 2

  • Assessor qualification (A1/TAQA) and/or Level 4 CET

  • Experience of online or cohort delivery, IAG, or employer engagement
